CMSC Skiers Instructional Workshop
Learn how to teach while building your own skills
Saturday, January 26, 2008
8:30AM to 3:30PM
This workshop is structured for Intermediate Skiers who are interested in learning how to teach others while becoming a better skier themselves.
We’re continuously learning new techniques and drills to enhance our skiing and teaching, and can’t wait to pass them on to you – so this year’s clinic will offer even those who have been with us before, a full day of learning and practice opportunity. Use this clinic to sharpen your skills for the coming season. Get yourself on the path to improvement in 2008.
When we help our fellow skiing friends or help on club trips, we want to make sure we are teaching a solid progression, which incorporates the most current teaching and skiing methods. We want to be able to look at our students movements on the snow and help them progress. We also need to understand the continually changing equipment and how it has changed our techniques. We ourselves as snowsport enthusiasts want to enhance our own skiing ability as well as bring our teaching to the next level. That's what this clinic is all about.
- $40 is the price to attend which covers the morning and afternoon on-snow workshops, written material and lift ticket. Our PSIA instructors are volunteering their time to CMSC to facilitate this clinic in order to keep the cost of this clinic at a very reasonable amount for you. This is a great price!
- Location: Grand Geneva Ski Area, Lake Geneva, WI (just across the Illinois/Wisconsin border)
