Piccadilly is going to Japan! Yes it’s true, we will be going to Japan for a wonderful trip to experience the culture, food, people, and skiing/boarding in the area that hosted the 1998 Winter Olympics. The trip dates are March 8 -19, 2017, and the trip includes the following for a cost of $3,240 :
• All air transportation on JAL from O’Hare
• All ground transportation via bus and bullet train
• 3 nights in Kyoto – Japans cultural center and former capital – at the 4* Kyoto Okura Hotel with a breakfast buffet daily
• ½ day Kyoto city tour (includes temple admission fees)
• 5 nights in Hakuba Valley at the 4* Mominoki Hotel with a hot and cold breakfast buffet daily and 4-course dinners for 4 nights (within a 7 minute free shuttle to the Happo One and Hakuba 47 ski areas, and 20 minutes to 9 other ski areas)
• 2 nights in Tokyo at the 4* Shinagawa Prince Hotel with a breakfast buffet daily
• Local English speaking guides with us at all times

In addition to the opportunity to experience Japanese cultural history at the many temples in Kyoto, and the modern day Japan in Tokyo - there are many day trips available from Hakuba for the non-skier or for skiers who wish to take a day off. These include the Matsumoto Castle, the Nagano Temple, the Olympic Village from the 1998 Nagano Games, a visit to a Saki Brewery, and the famous Snow Monkeys!
