We’ll be at Steamboat during the week of the entertaining Cowboy Downhill.
Resort information: Nearly 3000 acres in size encompassing 5 mountains, 350 inches of snowfall annually, known for its champagne powder to its deep western heritage, and winter Olympic history and one of the most memorable ski towns in North America. Non skier activities include tubing, dog sledding, snowmobiling, sleigh rides, horseback riding, helicopter tours, dining (over 100 restaurants including one on top of mountain via gondola), ice skating, hot springs, shopping, snow shoeing/cross country skiing/tours, and hot air ballooning. Round trip air from Cedar Rapids to Hayden with transfers
Full pkg or w/o air pkg includes 5 lifts. Lifts are a bargain at $275 in the pkg for 5 days including $10/day lunch vouchers.
7 nights lodging at LaCasa condos on the mountain. These are a combination of 3 bed 4 bath and 4 bed 5 bath condos that are very spacious, have all of the expected amenities including free covered parking, and are 150 yards from the lifts.
