Comments:
Join us at the sprawling Breckenridge Ski Resort, with five separate peaks overlooking the old mining town of Breckenridge. Plenty of green groomers, interesting intermediate trail and lots of advanced terrain. There are fun runs and challenging slopes for every skier / boarder.
We're staying right at Peak 9 at the Beaver Run Resort with easy ski-in/ski-out. Handy lift access to gets you to all of the resort's 187 trails without a long walk or a bus ride.
Breckenridge is up there (base is 9600', highest summit is 12,988), so the snow should be good. There are restrooms and food options on the mountain, so no need to always come back down to the base.
Club 50 is offering multiple lodging options, hotel rooms and condos in the Beaver Run complex. We always has an evening wine and cheese gathering, with one night being a pizza party. No kids on this trip (adults 50 and older only). We party, but not too hard. Evening gathering provides a chance to socialize about the day, make plans for tomorrow and find out about all the trails "you just have to check out"!
With the town of Breckenridge nearby, there are restaurants, shops, bars and historical sites to explore.
We will being flying American Airlines from Chicago O'Hare; basic pricing includes R/T airfare, R/T bus to resort, hotel room (double occupancy), daily breakfast at Beaver Run, luggage handing, and our seven evening parties. (Base Price: $1600). Single occupancy and condo options are available at an additional charge.
Breckenridge Ski Resort is an Epic (Vail Resorts) property providing multiple lift / season ticket options (not included in base package).
