American Blind Skiing Foundation (ABSF) - ABSF is committed to serving blind and visually impaired people of all ages by offering activities that build confidence and independence in a comfortable supportive setting. These positive experiences can last a lifetime. ABSF enables blind and visually impaired individuals to ski and snowboard with qualified guides at a variety of ski areas throughout the ski season. Blind and visually impaired skiers/snowboarders, of varying levels of experience, work with guides so that they can enjoy a fascinating winter sport. Sighted guides ski with visually impaired skiers so that they can assist their skier traverse slopes of differing degrees of difficulty.
