Recreational Activities

  • Chicago Week, a large multi-club Western event available as a club trip with multiple social activities, minimal club commitment, and central planning by the Council
  • CMSC events available as club trips with no attendance requirements or financial risk for clubs
    • European ski and snowboard trip as an international option
    • Spring Fling ski and snowboard trip as an economical end-of-season option

Support of Skiers and Skiing as a Sport

  • Participation in the National Ski Council Federation (NSCF)
  • Lobbying against travel industry changes that adversely impact skiers and snowboarders (such as airline baggage policy changes)
  • CMSC donations to ski organizations, including Norge Ski Club ski-jumping program, American Blind Skiing Federation (ABSF), and SouthEastern Wisconsin Adaptive Ski Program (SEWASP)

Membership Information

Annual dues are $40. Our memberships are available throughout the year, but certain time constraints apply for inclusion in our Ski & Ride Club Guide magazine.
