If you are 50+ and enjoy fun activities with friends, Club 50 is your kind of year-round ski and sports club. Concerts, biking, sailing, paddling, hiking, bowling, and, yes, we even go skiing! Members live in the Chicago, the suburbs and even out of state. Check us out at our Sunday evening social/dinner gatherings held at locations all over Chicagoland. Guests are always welcome to join our local events and meet our friendly members.
We plan for at least two Western/Canada ski trips per year and a couple of Midwest shorter ski outings. We also have last minute “Flash Trips” to nearby ski hills where anyone can join.
Club 50’s big 2024 trip heads to Snowmass/Aspen January 25 - February 1. We'll be staying at the Limelight Hotel, one of the new lodging propertyies at Snomwass (located right at the Elk Camp Gondola. We are also joining CMSC’s Chicago Week at Jackson Hole, WY. Both these trips are IKON resorts, however IKON must be Base+ or Full IKON; IKON Base Pass is not accepted.)
Club 50 is heading to Snowriver / Jackson Creek (formerly Indianahead / Blackjack) March 10 - 13. Our fourth outing is set for Steamboat / CMSC Spring Fling. Club 50 is returning after a great week there back in 2023.
Management at Viking Ski Shop told Club 50's president that many customers say: "You know, I'd ski more, but I don't have anyone to ski with." Club 50 is just the place to find a SKI-MIGO* for you.
*(A SKI-MIGO is a person who likes to ski the same type of trails as you. Whether it's beginner, intermediate or expert, you can always find such a companion on our Club 50 ski trips. Don't ski alone. Come ski with Club 50 !)
