We are off to Breckenridge, CO! You can fly or drive out on this trip!
We fly out of Moline IL to Denver CO on Sunday March 30, 2025. From Denver there is
transportation to Breckenridge Residence Inn (Marriott). If you drive – you get there when you get
there. Please note (at this writing) that there is a $20/day fee to park at the property.
Lodging is for 6 nights. All rooms are studio rooms, 2 Queen beds that include a kitchen and bath.
The property includes an outdoor pool and hot tub area, fitness center, BBQ grills, a restaurant/bar,
there is breakfast offered daily, and there is a shuttle to the local ski area. The hotel is in the Historic
District.
Skiing – Breckenridge is an Epic Pass property – PLEASE REFER TO TOM McCORMACK’S article
on how to obtain lift passes. The 5 day pass for Breckenridge is $503.00 (4 day is $414.00) (as of
7/20/24) – there are discounts available for Military/Veterans. Please check the Epic Website for
prices.
The Mountain: Highest Elevation is 12,987’ (Peak 8). There are 35 lifts. Skiability breakdown is:
11% Green; 37% Blue; 24% Black; 34% Double Black. Yes – this adds up to 106% - I didn’t do the
math – it was on the Trail Map!
