Snomads Ski and

           Snowboard Club


           This year the Snomads Ski Club of Racine
           celebrates its 37th anniversary. On March 1,
           1971 the ski club known as Wis-Ski-A-Go-Go
           changed its name to the Snomads Ski Club.
           We had fun then and are still having a great
           time.

           We are about 45 members strong from a one-
           time high of about 300. We continue to have
           fundraisers to support ski-related causes such
           as the National Sports Center for the Disabled
           in Winter Park, Colo. We also sponsor a race team that  So if you’re a ski or snowboard enthusiast who is over
           competes in the Metropolitan Milwaukee Ski Council  21 and would like to find out more, contact our club
           Senior Alpine Race League. The race season begins in  and check out our website.

           During the summer, activities have included weekly
           bike rides, golf outings, Brewers games and sailing.

           Thunderbird
           Ski Club


           The Thunderbird Ski Club is a ski
           and social club with adult members
           of all ages. Our club is one of the
           largest in the country and one of the
           few that has its own ski school. We
           offer many Western ski trips every
           year, and every trip includes a wel-
           come party and an agenda of events
           and activities for trip partici-
           pants. The Boyne Bash is a favorite
           weekend trip for many members.
