On Wednesday, 54 people filled five buses for a trip to Crater
       Lake National Park, about two hours away. The guided excursion
       included lunch and snowshoeing near the lake’s rim, and got
       rave reviews. Other folks used that day to relax at Sunriver or
       skied again at the mountain. Wednesday evening was Bend
       Night #2. Buses again ferried people downtown to dine, listen to
       music at McMenamin’s Old St Francis School or enjoy libations
       at the Dogwood Cocktail Cabin, our new “local” bar.

       Thursday night was the culmination of our Volcanic Confluence.
       Everyone flaunted colorful Hawaiian garb at the Great Lodge for
       the Dinner Banquet. The evening’s entertainment started with
       slack key guitar music followed by a fantastic Polynesian floor  The bus trip to Crater Lake National Park included a snowshoeing trek.
       show featuring a traditional native Hawaiian band, more than 20

       On Friday, Mt. Bachelor got 6-8 inches of new snow, a nice treat  (Hustlers); Larry Douglas (Inland); Barb Lewanowski (Joliet);
       for our last day. That evening was a final opportunity for Sunriver  Heather Seger (Nomad); Teri Hammon (Omaha); Dennis Starr
