On Wednesday, 54 people filled five buses for a trip to Crater
Lake National Park, about two hours away. The guided excursion
included lunch and snowshoeing near the lake’s rim, and got
rave reviews. Other folks used that day to relax at Sunriver or
skied again at the mountain. Wednesday evening was Bend
Night #2. Buses again ferried people downtown to dine, listen to
music at McMenamin’s Old St Francis School or enjoy libations
at the Dogwood Cocktail Cabin, our new “local” bar.
Thursday night was the culmination of our Volcanic Confluence.
