CLUB PROFILES

           Schussboomers Ski and Snowboard Club
We’re a small but mighty group that loves to schuss…
skiing/boarding is our main focus. We attract singles, couples,
families and even non-skiers. In the off season we kayak at
least once a month, enjoy the performing arts and various
festivals throughout the Milwaukee area, participate in the
Susan Koman Run for the Cure…all great venues to stay
connected. We meet pre-trip and post-trip at various locations.
This season we are running our third annual Super Bowl week- Skunk Hollow Ski and Snowboard Club
end trip, via Amtrak, to ski Welch Village in Minnesota. Our
Western “retro ski train trip” this season is to Breckenridge, CO.

           Sitzmark Ski Club
Sitzmark Ski Club has been around since 1946. We are a
small- to medium-sized club that consists of all ages of people
who enjoy having fun year round. We welcome not just adults
but families as well….and not just skiers but snowboarders, too.

Sitzmark Ski Club of Milwaukee, Inc.
Sitzmark Ski Club of Milwaukee, Inc. is a ski, recreational and
social organization providing affordable activities for its mem-
           bers—adults 21 and over—from Southeastern Wisconsin. The
club exists to develop and promote exciting events in a spirit of
camaraderie among current and new friends with common inter-
                                                                                      Sly Fox Ski Club
ests. Every year we have four Western mountain ski trips, five
“Northern” ski trip weekends and several day trips to local hills,
usually at prices well below what anyone could arrange for them-
                                                                                  Sno-Gophers Ski Club
selves. Throughout the year there are social activities like biking,
camping, kayaking, volleyball, softball and golf. (sitzmark.org)

Skunk Hollow Ski and Snowboard Club
Skunk Hollow Ski and Snowboard Club offers great ski trips
and year-round social events. With around 100 members
(21 and over), we’re large enough to offer reasonably priced ski
trips, yet small enough to maintain our friendliness. Our season
starts at Winter Park over New Years, Crested Butte in January
and Aspen/Snowmass in February. Our club has skiers of all
abilities, so there’s always someone to share the slopes with.
Members stay active with monthly events including camping,
bike rides, a fall weekend getaway and house parties.

21-70+ years young, receives monthly newsletters and website
updates. We enjoy the opportunity for international, Western
and Midwestern trips. This year 77 members will ski Morzine,
France and visit Paris in January. In March we’re going to
Copper. We’re also skiing Marquette Mountain, Indianhead
and Blackjack in Michigan. We are very fortunate for the great
organization of our trips. We meet in Appleton, IL on the first
and third Wednesdays, October-April, with Friday happy hours.
Fox Valley Bicycle and Ski Club
